I am planning to get one around ten grand...
Anything that I should be looking for ... ?
Like a pre-purchase check-list?

Yeah, 10k's pretty cheap. I've had people try to sell me ones with a blown motor for 10-11K. 12K's probably a more reasonable number for a semi-beatup high mileage 00.

i think even $12k is a stretch, unless prices have changed dramatically in the last few months. there have been a few good threads on used purchase checklists before, search a little and you should find a couple.
