Default coming from type-s

hey all, ive been on the forums for a good amount of time, planning to get an ap2 s2k in the somewhat near future. im coming from an rsx-s, and the insurance wasnt as bad as expected. im 19, and i just want something not so practical. my #1 choice is to be able to get an s2k, but i was also thinking, if insurance is too high, possibly getting a z. now i dont know the usual differences in insurance, if there is any, or if they are significant. any tips as to what will be less and such?

turbo, I'm moving your post to introductions. You might get more feedback there.

I dont know how much insurance on a Z would be...but i have an 05 Jetta GLI (1.8t 6spd) that was 174 a month for full coverage...I added my s2000 with the same coverage and i now pay 233 a month...I think i have a insane insurance agent though. Because i am only 19 as well, and for 2 cars fully covered its insanely cheap. at least in AZ

I'm 19 too and insurance for me with $500/500 dect. full coverage, and one speeding ticket on record was $1900/6mo... a Z was $1700/6mo.
This was with Geico on my own.
Now I'm on my parents insurance again and it dropped to $1300/6mo. for my S2K.

You could call your insurance agent and ask.

^thanks. my agent isnt as accessible as id like, and i work a ton. i plan on it, but this is something i wanted to know in my free time from fellow drivers, not an insurance agency.

taking a list of cars in is all fine and good, but you could save yourself some time by just calling your insurance guy instead. That way you save gas too.
