Default Insurance for a middle age man

I'm sure there are plently of insurance threads, but I'm getting close to either buying S2K or crossing it off my list. So I appreciate your time in this reply.

Is anyone like me, or similar?

Married. Age 45. Clean driving record. 2 cars.

How much are you paying for insurance on your S2K?

I'm 33 clean record, 2 cars. I pay $65 a month for full coverage, $500 deductible with State Farm.

If its an additional car, it should be under $90/mo imo, tops, for full coverage. Probably closer to $50/mo, but you can simply call your insurance company and get a quote.

And any rate posted here is going to vary by where one lives in addition to ones age. If you live in New Jersey, your rate would be substantially different than if you lived in the middle of nowhere, South Carolina.

Just call your insurance and I am sure they can give you an accurate rate. Shouldn't be much at all.

As always: get quotes. There are definitely plenty of insurance threads and they're all fairly pointless as there are many variables that affect rates and different companies can and do use different criteria (credit score is a good example of something that some but not all companies use).

If you want to compare you need to consider more than just those variables. Location, driving history, the specific coverages and deductibles you're after, etc all play into this. Again, get quotes. You can request them online very easily and they'll actually be relevant to you rather than random polling of people in various situations that may or may be relevant to you.
