I've joined the forum because I am strongly considering selling my '04 Saab 9-3 Aero and buying an S2000.

My current car:




I'm really not sure whether I really want to do it or not, I would be looking at a 2004-2006 Ap1 Facelift (as I'm in the UK) with no more than 60,000 miles, budget around 9k mark. The thing is my current car has 275bhp and over 400nm of torque (Maptun mapped), so although its heavy it's pretty quick. And its spacious, and has heated seats, dual zone auto climate control, colour screen iPod direct control, sub and speaker install etc. etc. and I'm worried that I'll miss these more than the handling can make up for.

So I was just wondering if anyone has made a similar switch before? I can't afford to run both cars, so the S2k would be my DD. I don't need a big car, but its the little luxuries that I think I might miss.

S2000 is all about driving, I seldom even use the radio.

Not to mention RWD which gives you control and use of all four tires.

IMHO, S2000 is more of a complement to your Saab than a replacement.

Keep the Saab and buy the Honda. Have the best of both worlds. I have 4 Saabs and an AP-2 and have fun with them all. Saabs and the S2000 are completely different worlds.
