I would be looking for it to appear this month as sales are very, very slow on the S2K. It started in may last year. It will likely be the same- 299/mth for 36 mths with 3700 or so due at signing. That said, you can do much better if you ask. I paid 363/mth + tax for 36mths with only the first payment due at signing. I had to wait for the lease offer to appear to get the deal however.

When did you finally get the deal and more importantly, how long did you wait?

Edit- Just talked to two local Honda dealers and they said they didn't have any going on, nor do they receive a "heads up" regarding special lease deals.

Perhaps its dealer specific? Or is that Honda's decision which makes it available nationwide?
I leased my car on May 31st of 2006. The lease deal was announced May 2nd or so. I waited from Jan 06-May 06 for it to appear. I was trying to replace my 2002 Boxster with a 2006 Boxster, but the deal I had on my 02 was not to be found on the 06 so I settled on the S2K. I told my sales guy what I needed in order to make a deal and he called me once it was possible. The lease is a national offer thru AHFC. It will appear on Honda's web site when it is available again.

That's this: 2007 S2000 Featured Standard Lease.

That means the money factor is not subsidized by Honda. It will be the standard money factor offered by AHFC, which is at .00280 for a 36-month lease. However, you can use the $2000 factory-to-dealer cash to negotiate the "selling" price of the car. I have run some numbers on a lease calculator, but I think it's possible to get to high $300's with only first month's payment due at signing.

I think the 2000 is already taken from the s2k at this lease deal. Im trying 3 different dealerships right now. they wont budge.

Give them time- they will budge- mine made the deal as soon as the lease special started in may of last year. The S2K is selling even slower than it was last year...

I asked you this in another thread and never got an answer- why would you buy the Hondacare warranty when your car will be covered by a B to B warranty for 36mths/36K and Powertrain warranty for 60mth/50K? Your total lease miles allowed are 45K and the Warranty cost you $1000 extra over the $399 you would have paid without it...

I might understand it on a Ferrari (or even a VW ) but an S2K is bulletproof and will likely never need a warranty repair in the 3yrs you have it.

Just curious...
