Done messing around
Growing up watching The Fast and the Furious movies increased my love for cars.
Age 16 I started off with a 1994 Civic DX hatch. Had the sweet boom box and fart can.
Age 17 upgraded to a 1999 Acura Integra GS, also equipped with a boom box and fart can but one upped it with a AEM cai (oh yeah).
While on summer break before college my uncle told me if I got his 1993 Del Sol running it would be mine. One weekend of tuning it up, new battery and new alternator I earned myself my first two seater. The next year I rebuilt that car from the ground up. Energy suspension bushings, skunk2 front and rear upper sway bars, koni struts with ground control, 225/40R15 tires. I was shooting to make it drive like it was on rails and I got pretty damn close.
Age 20 I got rid of the Integra and bought a 1996 Civic Cx Hatchback with a b18c1 that a dude the a eBay turbo kit on. After doing a complete overhaul on the engine and turbo kit(bored cylinders .5 over, installed block guard, GE rods, JE 9:1 pistons, all OEM bearings I plasti gauged to run "sloppy" , port and polished head, skunk2 pro1 cams with springs and retainers, Edelbrock intake, go-autoworks turbo kit with a gt3076r, self tuned on s300, rebuilt the trans with new synchros and a wavtrac LSD, and much much more) and reaching 500hp I still was not satisfied. I've been missing something. Something I know that I could have afforded a long time ago but made dumb decisions and messed around to much.
So finally April 11th of 2016 I purchased one of my dream cars. A 2001 Honda S2000 in Silverstone with the red interior. It spent all is life in Florida and only had a minor accident in the front right. I can't wait to get moving on modifications for this car. It already has rpf1's, Invidia q300 dual exhaust with TP and is lowered on skunk2 springs. My end goal is a reliable 400-500hp. So next step is a stand alone ECU, headers then hopefully a Kraftwerks SC kit. After the engine mods are complete I'll finish off the exterior with a hardtop and possibly a couple diffusers. Any input is welcome, I've still got a lot of learning to do. This car is a completely different beast!
