Booking my flights now. I have to travel to Chicago earlier next week so I'm off to Chicago for 2 nights then over to Ohio to pick up my car, visit a few clients then drive home. Cannot wait, as it has been a LONG time since i've had a real sports car, and one I can work on and take to the track.

It's near Columbus. I forget the town now, I'll look it up.

You will be fine, the car is a normal car unless you are driving like a lunatic or in the rain. My Miata was more squirlley than this car. Just enjoy the drive, I also got mine in Ohio new in 04.

My first miata was very tail happy, but after taking off the terrible all season and putting on some Falken Azenis's it was planted to the ground. Though with how little power that 1.6L made, I could not spin the tires no matter how hard I tried.

This car has all season's on it which I will reseach and put on some summer tires as I have a Protege5 to drive in the winter.

A friend of mine swears by his Goodyear Eagle F1 all season tires. I've never been a big fan but he loves them and I'll take a look. I'm sure though they are well out of my price range for tires.

Ditch the all season tires and go summer, are they factory rims?
