Default drove my car today

I got to take my 01 s2000 out today at the dealership. problem is that the title isn't come in yet so i can't take it home. so i took it out and oh man i love it so much. VTEC is so fun. my sol has a SOHC vtec and i thought that was fun but the s2000 is crazy fun. i got to fish tail the rearend on some sand. very controllable. the previous owner(s) put in that scoop that goes from the intake to the grill. I couldn't tell if it helps any. it wasn't so bad on the highway around 80mph for wind noise. the radio in it was pretty loud and i'm sure it'll suck wheh i put the top down in the spring seeing that i'm an audio saleman at Circuit City. so yeah when i get her home i'm going to clean out the throttle body and tighten the throttle cable. So i'll keep you all updated. i'm very happy that i bought this car. oh yeah the tranny seems to be in excelllent cond. i noticed that when i put it in 1st gear it makes a thud sound. not worried about it i have a warranty on her. so for the rest of you i can see why you enjoy the car. i most deff will too.

When you say "a thud sound" do you mean a subtle noise or a very loud noise. If it's quiet, I think that's the nature of the beast.

I guess I was trying to say that the tranny does make a gentle clunk, at a standstill, when you put the car into a gear. Always does.

Glad you're lovin' it, Fitzy!!!

I usually do a fake-out into third, and then go into first. Usually makes the thud go away.

Congratulations. I actually just quit from circuit city. I used to work in car audio. I replaced the speakers with infinity kappa perfects. Check them out, you get quite a decent discount through the accommodation website.
