Default Evo guy intro

Sup ladies n' gents!

Just came across this board as I was looking for my FIRST Honda. I was never really into Honda's because I was never really into them.....until now. Why all of a sudden now you ask? Easy, it was the GPW S2000 that caught my eye on I-95 near Boston. He had his top down and was just cruisin. I was like "Daymmmmmmmmmmmmm!" I need me one of those. haha!

My current ride is an Mitsu WW Evo IX MR and I'm looking to add an AP2 to my collection. Once the timing is perfect, I'm sure I'll be able to drive one home. Well see...

So I hope this board has lots of info because I'm sucha noob. I mean, starting all brand new is always fun and interesting and I look forward to meeting some of ya'll at meets and such.

Here's the current whip:

Since my brother owns the same car as you, I've been fortunate to have driven both. I love my bro's MR. It's ridiculously fast. If I had the money, I would love to have both. If I had to choose 1 over the other, of course it would be the S.

Here's a pic of my bro's MR.

Your bro definitely has good taste when it comes to exterior mods and the Voltex kit looks best with Graphite Gray versus other colors IMO. I'm still in the market for my first Honda and I gotta say it aint easy looking for the right S2K.

I know what you mean. I've been looking for two months for the perfect S.

Wait, your wife drives an EVO? Holy moly that's awesome. I just got the basic bolt-ons: Perrin intake, Espelir exhaust and a rear JDM bumper. The USDM rear bumper looks hideous.

Yep! I really wanted to get her that JDM rear bumper, but was afraid of cutting into the crash bar in order to have it installed.

Hers is pretty much stock except for an AMS reflash.

I had my crash beam cut, welded and painted by a local reputable shop for 50 bucks (talk about a bargain). Only because me and a couple other evo guys did it at the same time back in Jan 2007 and so far it's been holding up pretty well.
