I'm currently trying to sell my Evo right now, and have been actively searching for an AP2 S2000. I figure since I'm pretty dead set on picking one up, I might as well register at some S2000 forums, so here I am!

Hopefully I can pick up a white AP2. I test drove an S2000 about 5 years ago, before I picked up my first Evo and enjoyed it quite a bit. Although the Evo is fun to drive, the S2k is just on my list of cars that I wish to own at one point in my life. I should have my Evo sold in the next couple weeks, so hopefully, that will be a reality in the very very near future!

Here's some random info about my Evo if anyone cares. lol.

Specs: 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8

Engine/Power/Drivetrain:

-2.3 stroker (1,200 miles... chassis has 69k miles)
(New OEM 4g64 crank, forged Manley rods, forged JE pistons coated top and skirt by JE, ACL barings, all ARP fasteners.)

Thanks! I've actually been browsing the FS section, as well as Craigslist, but I'm having a hard time finding a white AP2 with black interior.

One quick question: Do the AP2's have an optional tan interior? I saw that in one of the cars in the FS section here, but wasn't sure if it was a stock option or if the owner had that done. I'm not a fan of tan interior, but thought it looked really really nice! I wouldn't mind owning that either, but it seems rare.

 

Thanks! It's quite a blast to drive as well. The built stroker motor with the GT30R really makes for a fun street car; however, this is my 2nd Evo, and I've been owning Evo's for the past 5 years, so it's time for a change!

By the way, is there a way to put multiple quotes in one post on this forum? I can't seem to find the function to do so..

Hehe. i'm personally not really a big fan of red cars, but this car was owned by someone I knew pretty well, so it was just an easier buy.

I'm still pretty dead set on getting a white s2k.

 

haha. Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the wing either. And as fun as the Evo is to drive... the stupid roof wont go down. An S2000 will fix that problem!
