Default Fell asleep in a mazda. Woke up in a s2000.

How's it going members of S2ki. I am a new owner of a 2000 s2000. Well I had it for about 5months now, and I came from a mazdaspeed3. Hands down excusing the power of this engine a well put together track car is a understatement. Although I am coming from a car with a lot more power. This car is still more enjoyable to drive a sports car enthusiast. I am blown away by its feel and handling, and how impressive the f2.0c engine really is. I got the car with a Mugen hardtop and a intake. I am in the south Florida area btw. I did enjoy the nice stock leather seats, but I quickly changed to Recaros within a few short weeks. DC5 red on buddy club rails. I am very familiar with modifying cars and would like to meet some cool people from this platform that have good technical experience and advise. I have already purchased a turbo kit for the car, and will be looking to explore the great strength of this well put together engine. I have researched that up until 2010/2011 the f2.0C held the record for the most power per liter in a Naturally Aspirated engine. (To the 458 Itlia and GT3 4.0) In conjunction with knowing they were constructed with forged aluminum rods. So.. happy to be here, happier to own one.

Thanks, Ky.

welcome. and don't forget that those oil banjo bolts in the early f20c need replacing for boosted and track driven applications.

Hi KY!

I hope to join you soon.
I've been driving the 1990 Miata for for about 23 years now but now I want a S2000.

Unfortunately the ones in my area are way over-priced so my search continues.
