damn, I wonder at what speed was that

and also what price should I look for in an 07 model
and how much do you think I should put down, I have $8000 saved up

sorry for so many newb questions but this is going to be my first real sports car as i'm going from a 01 pontiac sunfire to this, big ****ing difference between the two.
Man up Floyd..by the S if you want it, and can afford it..let's see if you hunt you can find an 07 S with all the extra costs,i.e. tax,etc for about 30k or so give or take means you'll be financing about 22, about 450 mo. plus, if you're a "spirited" driver count on tires every 8k .....love the S, but it costs $$ to enjoy

IMHO...why spend $32K + for an '07 when you can get an '05 with 10K miles on it for $24K?

If you must have a "new" car then that's the only reason to spent almost $10K more. Your '07 will only be worth $24K (at best) in 2 years.

, but a really well kept 05 will probably run you closer to $26k plus if it is Honda certified

The S2000 has an awesome frame which holds up very well in accidents.

That said, there is no way you're going to convince someone who thinks a convertible is a death trap to be rational.
