Finally!
Good Morning! After wanting an s2000 for about 15 years and looking very seriously for the last few months I finally picked one up on Saturday. It's a Sebring Silver 2002, bone stock, clean title, bought from the second owner and very clean inside and out for it's age. My intentions are to keep it stock and replace some fluids for now while I drive it a bit the rest of the summer and access what else it might need over the winter time. Very happy to be part of the s2000 community, this site has helped me a ton with research as I was looking to purchase. Here is a picture...

It's nice to finally realize a dream. I'd change all of the fluids for peace of mind like you stated. You may want to grab a brake fluid test strip just to see the fluid condition before changing that out.

Congratulations, I have little doubt that you'll enjoy your S.
I would note that after participating in a couple of the organized S2K group drives put together by the Oregon S2000 Owners group, I've found the local S2000 community around here to be very welcoming and a great group of people.

I have the same car. You will love it. I'd suggest that you make sure you have good tires and a good alignment so you can be sure you are getting the most out of it. The handling is quite sensitive to tires and alignment. Once you get those two things sorted out the car is pure joy. Not sure how many miles it has, but the other thing I would do if it has not been done recently is to throw a new set of plugs in it, and adjust the valves. Glad to hear you want to keep it stock. It is very difficult to improve the car for street driving and many mods actually can make it worse than stock.
