After flogging one on a "test drive" back in 02 and being taunted by aCab as he screamed past at Road Atlanta, I finally have my New Formula Red 06. Downside...I have moved from Atlanta to Pennsyltuckey. Upside...my daily commute takes me down 5 miles of one of the most amazing roads in south central Pa that has recently been paved (who the f*&k needs coffee?). So happy to be an active member of your community.


P.S. I once owned an 01 Miata that I essentially chose over my girlfriend at the time...I made the right choice. Hence the username

 

Haha. Welcome. I loved my 1996 Miata. Glad to be a more refined....more powerful. better looking fun car. Love my 05 AP2 but will always have a special spot for the miata. I once offroaded the miata at 65+ mph and blew my tires of the bead in a corner. Fixed it within 10 minutes and kept racing around. lol. Good times.

Anyway. Glad you got the car you wanted.

Indeed. I am picking up a set of DWSs in a few weeks and probably getting Star Specs in the spring. If it gets too hairy I have access to an Outback. A friend on here has a spare set of AP1 wheels I need to think about buying off him.

 

Good times. I loved my Miata, they are a fantastic car. I enjoyed driving my friends S2 back to back with my Miata.
