Finally- - After 2 Miatas
I've wanted one of these for years and looked seriously after our 1999 Miata was getting long in the tooth. We test drove a used AP1 but didn't really like it as it was rough and really didn't drive well. The new paint was out of reach.
We traded the 1999 for a 2004 Mazda speed Turbo Miata in early 2005. This is a great ride. It's fast and solid.....but not a s2000.
After I bought the Miata, a friend at work wanted a ride. He fell in love and wanted one. I suggested he look at a s2000 as Honda was running some great lease specials at the time. He landed a 2006 red s2k a week later.
Now fast forward 36 monthly lease payments and a new wife and new baby...and my friend is ready to turn back the car. Rather than let Honda have it, I picked it up for less than $20K and it has all of 7,000 miles on the clock. It's always been in the garage and covered while waiting for the next short trip.
Anyone want a turbo Miata with 31K miles?
