Default New S2000 Owner in Western PA

I have been forgetting to introduce myself on here for awhile now so............My name is Brett and I am from a small town called Johnstown about 60 miles east of Pittsburgh. I have wanted an S2000 for years now but I never made it happen until this past September. I had been driving a Mazda RX-8 for the past year that I had put alot of time and money into. I chose the 8 because it was a practical sports car that had back seats for the kids. I liked the RX-8 but deep town I was always disappointed in the power and reliability. The car did not hold it's value very well and the market soon was flooded with used 8s. In August I decided to return the car to stock and look into selling or trading the car in on an S2000 since I now had 2 other four door family cars. After researching, I decided I would go for a 2004 or 2005 model with as low mileage as I could find. I finally found the S I had been looking for about 250 miles away at a Honda dealer in Marlyland. It was a Honda Certified 2004 Rio yellow with approx. 13k miles in new condition. I worked the numbers and trade value for my 8 over the phone and drove down the following week to pick it up. I love this car and it is everything I wanted in a sports car. I brought my buddy along who has a Lingenfelter Corvette and he too was very impressed after driving it. Other than my 250 mile ride home, I have only driven the car around town and before long the weather had took a turn for the worse and I had to put it away for winter. I don't plan on going crazy with mods as I did on my 8 but I am currently putting in a full audio system with Infinity and JVC cmponents as the sound system is this car's one flaw.

Welcome to the site. It's going to be a long winter without that S (trust me, I know)... if PA is anything like here, they use plenty of salt and that translates to accelerated corrosion... and we can't have that!! Best thing about spring, you get a "new" car every year
