Wink Finally bought an S2000 :D

UPDATE 4/6/14, finally gave her a bath and took some decent pics.

I am stupid in love with this car, not even 24 hours into owning it!

I recently sold my boosted 2000 Integra in hopes of finding a nice S2k.

After only a week of searching, I got pretty damn lucky!

BONE STOCK Berlina Black 2003 with only 55,000 miles on her!

Drives like it just came off the lot. Perfect paint, clean top, smooth trans, and clean interior.

Best part is... I got it for under $12k ...

Sorry for the low-rez pics, but I'll have some SLR shots up soon

Sure did. He sold it on ebay but the buyer was not communicating.

Was in MUCH better condition than I thought it would be! Almost MINT!

Nice car!

Why did the previous owner remove the S2000 scripts? Are those the original headlamps?

He scratched the driver's side fender against a concrete barrier, so instead of trying to paint match a 10 year old car he got a full paint job from a GREAT painter that has been doing paint work for 25+ years. He bought the best BB paint and clear and it really shows. I can't even tell it has been painted and I'm EXTREMELY picky about things like that.

Truth is, when I first went to look at it I didn't expect the paint to look so good. When I saw it and inspected how well they painted, I was totally on board to buy it if it ran well, which it did.

So that's why the side scripts are off, but he bought new OEM ones that are in my "glove box" lol
Yes the headlights are original, I checked for 'JAPAN' on the lenses.

...Speaking of, anyone know of a good thread that shows how to measure and place them correctly on the fenders?

Also, being new to S2ks, I didn't know side strakes and a wing were such expensive options, glad I have those

The car also has brand new rotors/pads, tires, and a new OEM clutch from dealer at 40k miles (old lady drove it for 5 years and burnt it up)

What a beauty. Welcome!

I'm not sure if this is accurate as I haven't attempted it myself yet, but for the side badges:

Thanks! Hmmm lining up those things is gonna be a b*tch... With that 3M tape you don't have room for error at all... I might just leave them off for a bit until it bothers me. I'm a huge "keep it stock" guy, but I also think it looks pretty clean without them...
