Default Finally bought an S2k.

I just picked up a '00 Silverstone AP1. It has 50,000 miles and looks to be well taken care of. Everything works, no CELs. The interior is in mint condition and the body is excellent. The only damage is a cracked front lip. The only mods that it has is an AEM CAI and a set of AP2 rims. All it really needs is a set of tires (I'll probably get HTR Z III's) and I'm ready to go. Car runs good. When I hit VTEC for the first time on the test drive, I knew I was buying it. Haven't done much hard cornering, the rear tires are pretty worn, so I figured it is best to wait. So far all I have done is patch a small pinhole in the top, polish the headlights to remove some yellowing, grease the seals for the top and had to order new hardtop strikers.

I would have preferred less miles but I have two other Hondas and have had no serious problems to speak of, even well past 100,000 so I am not terribley concerned. I could have obviosuly found a newer model with less miles, but would have had to pay more, or found a cheaper car but it would have had more miles. I was right in the middle where I was looking to be. I will probably put it up on jackstands over the winter check the brake components and replace any worn suspension/steering items that I find. My only real plans are an Invidia Q300 exhaust for a little bit better exhaust note and that is it. I have a lot of researching and reading to do on my AP1, just wanted to say hi. I would love to find a midwest S2k club that does a track day somewhere..

My daily driver is a NBP 2003 Civic Si (EP3) with a handful of mods, updgraded audio, and aftermarket rims/tires.
