Default Finally Got My Dream Car

Ok. It's in the top five list for me. I've wanted a S2000 for the last four years, but I was married with a kid, so a two-seater wasn't an option. Now that I'm getting a divorce, I finally got my opportunity to get one. I still have a station wagon that I'm going to use in the winter months or when I need to carry stuff.

It's an 05 NFR with black interior. It had 5,700 miles on it when i got it. Now, it's at 6k. Put that many miles on in one day! It was about 50F outside, so I drove around with the top down the entire day until it got really cold. The car's in great shape with just a few stone chips. The paint needs a good detail, especially a clay bar treatment. Can't wait until it gets warmer to get it done.

This is my first convertible, and I love it. I wish I had gotten it sooner than later. The handling's incredible and the brakes are awesome. The engine has to be best part, especially when the VTEC kicks in. I just sold my Daytona 675 last weekend, so this is a good replacement for it. I can also drive it in worse conditions than my bike. Here are a few pics.

If you have to start over, an S2000 is a good way to get things going! Congratulations.

Thanks guys. I heard that red was the fastest color so I ended up getting it. I think the silver ones look better in pictures, but when I saw the NFR in person, that was it for me. I got it from a Jeep dealer for $23,700 before TTL. I thought it was a good deal. I'm also the second owner for this car.

The one thing I'm going to have to take care of are the left-side rotors front and back. They both have scoring on them. I can actually feel them. I'll take it in to Honda and see if they'll fix it under warranty. The rotors on the right have no scoring issues.
