Default Finally got my S2000

Finally, after 6 mos of fights with my significant other, I have been dealing with the "you get what you want, but not when you want it". Now I am a proud owner of a 2006 SK2, silver with black interior. Noticed that some of you guys have taken of the Honda emblems, what is the easiest way to get these off without ruining the paint? Also, since this car is used the trans syncros are a little worn going from 1st to 2nd gear, after engine warms up - no problem, is this common? car has 32K miles on it.

Welcome!!

Which emblems are you talking about? The "H" on the nose and trunk? Or the "S2000".

You will need to get a bodyshop to do the "H". If you remove them, they leave holes behind that need to be filled and painted.

The "S2000" emblems can be removed with dental floss and then use bug & tar remover or GooGone to get rid of the remaining adhesive.

Yup, normal. Change fluid more often then recommended to help but it can still grind when cold. Go easy on it until it warms up.

Also, moving the seat forward helps many people.

Whats is the recommended interval to change transmission fluid?

My 07 does it also. Drives me crazy.

I only 17k miles. but it does that since I had 6 k miles when I first bought her.

30K IIRC. I change mine every 15K and it shifts significantly better after each change.
