consider having the retainers inspected to make sure no one overrevved the motor.

damage from an overrev can take months to show itself. You're looking for valved sitting too low...you'll have to search for details here

Haha yea. My friend came along and said, lets do the story photoshoot.... We didnt have another person with my friend to do rolling shots out of the dealership parking though. But i'm pretty sure more photos will come. Thanks for all the comments.

I actually met a few s2k owners at my work and they introduced themselves and one gave me a card to s2kca.com as well and said i should join them in one of their s2k cruises so im excited about that too.

Congrats on the purchase, but IMHO alarms and Lojack are a waste of money. You have insurance afterall. If you're insistent on putting $$ into the car spend it on something you'll enjoy (performance parts, stereo, other mods,, etc...).

ok real quick... I did research for a lot of this stuff and just tried finding the thread i read a while back about recommended fluids.... Im gonna change out everything this weekend regardless of what the dealer said when i bought the car to be safe.

I bought PCX Blue OEM oil filter, oil drain bolt washers, Honda genuine Tranny fluid, tranny bolt Washers, and Mobile 1 Synthetic 10w30 oil (5qts). I tried findind LE 607 differential fluid but cant find it anywhere and my friend who is also an s2k owner recommended Mobile 1 75w-90 Gear Lube. Would that be suitable for the Differential??

You need a slight bit more than 5 qts for oil change.

Congrats, Chris.

Ask the dealer for the radio code.

First check your owner's manual (the code was printed on a sticker, which was pasted on my manual).
