Hey everybody.
It's been 2 years since my test drive, and I've finally taken the plunge. I bought my Suzuka Blue '02 the week after Thanksgiving, and I love everything about the car, except for my experience with the non-Honda dealer I bought it from.
There wasn't an owner's manual in the car when I bought it (yes, I checked the 'secret' compartment), and when I finally got one in the mail, I realized that it mentions a boot to cover the top when it is down.
Should this have come with the car, too?

All new S2000s come with the tonneau cover. Not a big deal if your dealer won't supply one since they can be found for cheap.

Enjoy the car.

Welcome to the site. A lot of owners don't use their tonneau covers, due to the fact that they are a pain to install. Or they are just lazy.

It's a pain to install AND I'm lazy.

Yes, bazooka, it should've come with it, but I'm sure the previous owner put the thing on a shelf somewhere and forgot about it (like most of us).

Suzuka MY02, huh? Sounds familiar! Welcome aboard!

I'm lazy too. And I have hidden my tonneau from myself and have no idea where its at. Oh well, not like I'll use it anyway.

I didn't have an owners manual when I bought my car either, damn previous owner!!

I've used mine twice.

And I'll only use it again when I take pics of my car.

That and they take up so much room in the trunk when not installed. Mine has a nice comfortable spot under the spare bed - from which it will likely NEVER move.
