flying to Houston tomorrow to...
I live in Minnesota so I bought my 02 s2000 in Texas so as to not deal with rust issues and such (plus my brother lives there). I bought it at the end of June, but have had to wait all this time to get off work. It's Sebring Silver with Black interior and 18000 miles on it Honda Certified. I can't believe the day is almost here! Well just thought I would say hi and get to know some of you.
Bobby
I'll post pics when I get back.

congrats and have fun!
A few tips (I just drove from boston to LA):
- sit up straight
- wear earplugs
- use blue painters tape to protect the paint. hit the front half of your hood, grill area, mirrors, and fenders. it'll look really lame, but it works
- stay far away from all trucks and big cars. they'll kick up rocks that will pound your windshield
- stay off the interstates
- tons of sunblock
- eat bbq in texas

Excellent tips. Also, bring a quart or two of 10W-30 motor oil, Bobby. YOur first order of business is to look at the oil level (pre-MY04 cars do burn oil -- it's normal).
If you have the time, before you start your journey, you should talk to the Honda dealer to make absolutely certain that the spark plug recall was done on this car. Best yet, take an allen wrench set and a socket wrench and remove the coil cover and coils and inspect the plugs yourself. Then, they need to be torqued back at 18 lb-ft.
Frankly, the service department should be willing to do this with you. Make 'em.
Best of luck. Enjoy the journey, and bring a small towel to fold up so that your lower back can press against it. I have only one gripe with the S2000 seats, and it's lower back support.
Oh, regarding interstates, I think chushi was just being cute, but you have no worries. You don't need to worry about engine break-in and speed variation... Given proper oil level, you can run the car all day on the highway.
