Found My Mojo
Hello, S2K community. I'm Joe. I grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from OU (hence the username). I have lived in the Lone Star state for the last 14 years. Prior to that I lived in Tahoe and Sacramento for a combined 15 years. Tahoe would be a great place to drive an S2K in the summer, but most of us have to go where the money is. So the hot plains of north Texas will have to do.
I have owned a 2006 New Formula Red S2000 for six weeks now. It was certified-used, being five weeks old and having 1065 miles on it when I bought it in Houston (McDavid Honda, caveat emptor ). On the drive home to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I escaped I-45 at Centerville (just north of Huntsville) and took State Route 75 for an hour or so, thanks to this website: Motorcycle Rides - Texas - US 75. It was a beautiful early evening in a beautiful part of Texas, and I had the road to myself. That's when this car put its spell on me, so I named it Mojo . I kept my '94 G-20 for commuting, so Mojo only weaves his magic spell on weekends. So far it's mostly been early morning drives with my wife for breakfast (true quality time). I plan on exploring more of these motorcycle roads in the near future.
Thanks to all for the informative posts that I read before and after the purchase, because they really helped. See you on the forums.

No name yet, Ks320? Let the beauty of British Columbia be your inspiration. Must be some awesome drives in your neck of the woods.
Chazmo, it's kind of hard to spell "Nebuchadnezzar", much less fit it on a license plate. Is this a reference to the hovercraft captained by Morpheus in the Matrix trilogy? Or were you going for the 15 liter bottle of wine

Joe,
It was, in fact, a reference to the hovercraft in the Matrix. I named it from the first movie. I nearly croaked when they blew it up in the second one!

I call the car "Neb" for short. My handle is on my plate, not the car's name.
