Default Found the perfect AP2, after a 6 year search

Hi everyone,

I guess I should stop lurking and introduce myself since I finally got an s2000. My name is Minde and I’m from central NJ. I used to own a bagged accord, which I miss quite a bit from time to time. I definitely miss the amount of space.

It took me about 5/6 years to find this s2. It was everything I was looking for. White, single older owner, garage kept, low miles, and unmodded. The car came from Florida and my best friend drove it back to NJ for me this past February. It's a 2006 with 54,000 mile.

I got Ohlins for the car shortly thereafter and finally got around to installing them. Would've been nice if they were preloaded from Ohlins.

I’ve known the route that I wanted to take with the s2 for years now, I just wasn’t sure it was going to take place with certain parts being discontinued and all. Mugen was always my first choice and ASM was the back up plan. Some how, a BNIB Mugen front bumper made its way into my hand and my vision slowly began to come together starting with this piece. I didn't think I'd acquire a Mugen SS bumper that quickly let alone a BNIB.

I wasn’t planning on doing anything with the car this year minus the suspension. My brother wanted me to bring the car to wekfest so I had two days to get the car somewhat together. The bumper went off for paint and I threw on a set of regamaster evo’s. Finished off with some spoon side mirrors and called it a day. I complained nonstop because I really didn’t want to go haha. It ended up being a good thing because I had the chance to enjoy the car before the season concludes. This is how the car sits now. The regas are temporary while I wait for my wheels to arrive from Japan.

We’re going to host an s2k bbq/meet at my brothers shop when it cools down. Hope to see some of you there and I’m looking forward to getting to know some of you guys.

I'm from the Woodbridge area, so maybe a litter more north haha. My brother owns MP Built in Port Reading (part of Woodbridge).

Thank you! I thought about leaving the mirrors entirely black but I like how clean it looks all white. Any pics of the NFR?
