hi. im chad and this is my first post. i just bought my honda s2000 after driving an rsx-s for the last two years.

the story: went up to honda cars of mckinney and talked with a guy by the name of jason west. told him i wanted an s2000 in any color but yellow (sorry yellow owners). he didnt have any s2000's on the lot, but they had a few at other car dealerships in their network.

discussions went on and i settled for a berlina black in california with 32k miles. however, when the dealership finally took delivery of it, it need about $3000 in repairs (new top, new front bumper, and repair some scratches on the quarter panel). needless to say i didnt want someone elses beater so this had me worried.

my salesperson actually got the dealer to send that s2000 back to the dealer in california and they sourced one out of oklahoma city. my salesperson actually took his saturday and drove to OKC and picked up my the s2000 and drove it back to DFW! this one was in great condition and it had only 27.8k miles instead of 32k and they were going to sell it to me at the same price.

thanks for the welcomes. ive been reading a lot on here over the last few weeks. although the search function hasnt worked most of the time.

is there any specific for sale section for the local DFW area? i know there is a thread, but im looking for something more oganized.

 

Hi and Welcome to the S2k forum.. Where in the DFW area are you located? South/North/West or East. By any chance any of your family members play hockey for the Dallas Star Hockey YL or Arlington hockey team?
