Default Got my new S2000 - HOLY FUN

Well, What more can I say .. this car is a BLAST to drive.

I purchased a 2004 S2000 (spa yellow), with 19,000 miles on it. This was from a Honda dealership and the car was just "Honda Certified" .. so all fluids changed, new tires, etc ...

I have to say, I got lucky as this car is MINT .. a guy bought it for his 65 year old wife, and she decided it wasnt for her, and took it back and traded for a Honda Pilot SUV ... her loss, my gain

I should mention, I had the car shipped from TN to Canada (well Maine, and I picked it up from there) and I have now gone through all the import process. This was extremely easy if you are organized and understand what needs to be done before hand. It went very smoothly. (sorry, boring stuff huh?)

Anyhow, I have had it 2 whole days, and I absolutely love it. Comments so far: "Nice Porsche" , "What the hell is that" , "Sex Machine" and my favorite from one of my buddy's "Man, you'll be getting "some" driving around in that thing" ... lol ... I have to mention we are in our late 30's so for him to crack that out .... we'll lets just say I havent heard that since College.

I installed a K&N FIPK tonight ... simple ... and I love the sound at high rev's. As for additional Power and Fuel Mileage, who knows ... I'm just a gadget freak and had to have it for the "coolness" of it.

I have driven a lot of cars to date, but I think this is one of the sexiest cars I have seen for a long time, and just an absolute HOOT to drive.

I enjoy reading all of the various posts in here, keep it up

Take care all,
David

No Stories ..

Turns out that my boss (Who lives in TN 2 miles from the dealership) knows the owner of the Honda dealership .... He did some leg work for me so I didnt have to fly down just to "look" at the car.

I contacted the previous owners of the car, as it turned out they were friends with the dealership owner as well... (small world)

So, no stories were fed to me ... I'm just not that gullable

Cheers,
David

sounds great... I was just kidding/being scarcastic ... and I am someone that wants to believe people ...now dealers on the other hand ... I carry some baggage there... just spent two days with a close friend negotiating for an MX-5 ... those guys were cut throat... and I had been through their grinder before having bought my wifes Mazda6 there...

enjoy! Love my 04/AP2.

No worries, I hear ya, and totally understand.

I just went what felt like 12 rounds with the local Mazda dealership here to purchase a Mazda 3 for my Girlfriend ...

These guys were out for blood ... If I had left her to do the deal with them, I'd be afraid of what they would have slid into the deal ...

Good news for me is, I was out for blood too .. and feel strongly I have gotten one of the best deals at this Mazda dealership in a while. Funny when I asked if they would take "Visa" for the car and forget all the finacing crap, how quick they were to strike a deal.
