Welcome. Good luck on your research.

So what made you choose the S2000, when you guys have your pick of the litter, as far as "JDM" cars are concerned.

it to easy going out and buying a GT-R, throwing cash at it and having everyone go "OMG F**KING SEXY" and when all i ever see around these days are nissans (silvia's, skylines), evo's (7,8,9) and freaking supra's, the good old s2k to an ideal 'under the radar' car.

when im on my travels around melbourne, i dont see many s2k's and i see them as one of the best cars japan has ever made. they are the best of all worlds:

power - check
handles well - check
smooth body lines - check
drivers car -check

i have driven silvia's with over 220rwkw, GT-R's with over 300wkw and plenty of wrx's with over 200wkw and dont get me wrong they are fun, but still not what i am looking for in a car.

Atm i dont have the AU$90k to go buy a BNR34 GT-R V-Spec II Nur, which is near perfect to what i am looking for in a car (well balanced, good response) and i cant justify the fuel & engine costs associated with a FD37 RX7, so once again, the s2k has come up trumps.

I totally understand where you are coming from. While we don't have the selection of cars you guys have, I have ridden in a few high horsepower cars and at the end of the day, the S2000 is still my favorite.
