Offer low. Something in the 19K range is not going to be an insulting lowball offer or anything. If your goal is to pay 19.8 or whatever don't start there as there will be no room for negotiation.

Here's how it went:
ME: 18,988
THEM: We won't even counter that.
ME: 19,500
THEM: 21,600 MIN
ME: 19,900 MAX

We'll see. I told them I am away next weekend (which I am) so if they want to move the unit for the month of March its this weekend or not at all. We'll see what happens. I'm kind of sad because I love that color combo and its hard to find, but I don't believe it should go for 21,600.

I paid $20,700 for my 19K mile 06 GPW with black interior back in October from a private seller, it had 4 new SO3's (225/255, just what I would have put on). IMO the GPW/blk was a harder color to find when I was looking and prices were still a bit higher, although summer is comming and it now is the last year of production. I thought it was a good deal, I made the trip from Ohio to Florida for it

Will do. Then when I do get my S maybe we can drive to meets together, etc.

Def. leaning heavily toward a CPO not only because of the warranty but the financing special right now.

Frankly it wouldn't surprise me if they call you in the next week with a "we thought it over" type of comment.

I don't know how married to silver you are, but there's a new listing for a dark blue 2006 with black interior within 30 miles of us listed on cars.com for 21,499(Bridgewater Acura). I'm ALMOST sorry I didn't hold off a little longer, that blue looks sharp. Black is my favorite though, makes more sense when I blast "Back in Black" from AD/DC

There are a couple of spots on the seats I'd want to check out though before making a decision.

I looked at Bridgewater in January. They seem to like to carry S2K's and other performance-oriented cars in their used inventory. At the time they had a different Laguna, a Berlina, and a Rio. It was like 18 degrees outside and the cars were dirty from salt residue. The Laguna had a small but noticeable scratch down to metal in the rear .25 panel which would have required paint work and the Berlina was so dirty I didn't give it a second look. It wasn't until I drove the car that would end up being yours the following month that I realized just how much I like Berlina (because it was relatively clean at the time). Its my favorite exterior color. The only reason I was going after the Silverstone is because I really like it with the red/black interior.
My preferences in order:
1. Berlina
2. Silverstone w/ red/black
3. Laguna
