It's difficult to answer a question like this properly without a bit of information:
1. What is your budget?
2. What is your boyfriend most interested in? Performance? Styling? Detailing? Audio? Amenities? Interior? Exterior? Etc? It seems, from the original post that he tends toward styling, but that may not be all he's into.
These two things should narrow down the suggestions quite a bit.

And I have no idea what he's most interested in. But so far all the suggestions have been really helpful!!
