Hey everyone,

I've been lurking for a while and finally joined!

Life-long car enthusiast and Honda person. My first car was a 1998 Honda Civic Si (in Canada, so a USDM EX) coupe which entered my life in 2003. Eight years later I bought my first ever new car which was a bright red 2011 VW GTI 6 spd manual.. awesome car. In 2017 leased a new Honda Civic touring because I wanted to give the GTI a semi-retirement and keep it forever (it was absolutely MINT, still had new car smell after 7ish years). Well, life changed, a girlfriend (and now soon to be wife) with a huge dog entered my life and both the 2017 Civic and GTI departed and a 2018 Honda Ridgeline entered (which I do really like, it's a great vehicle).

The car enthusiast bug has never left though and next spring I'll be looking for an S2000! I'd look seriously now but I'll be moving out of the province this spring because of work and overall it'd make more sense to move first. Also, I have a bit more to learn and advice to seek first!
