I haven't researched prices on S2000''s since I bought mine in 11/2001; a lot has changed since then. If you're satisfied with the deal after doing your research, buy it and enjoy. If not, keep looking.

But if you're convinced that a '00 isn't worth owning, then do as I said earlier: Run, don't walk, away from this car.

That's a good deal. You could probably find an '02 with equal miles for $18K but it wouldn't have a hard top. To me $1K would be worth it for the upgrades you get in '02 but that would require you to continue your search and if you wait much longer it gets harder to find good deals because it's almost convertible season and everyone wants one!

the only 02's i have found for around 18k have about 40K mi +. I guess my only complaint would be the plastic window, but once again, i can drop the top, or put the hardtop on. As for the carpet on the console, Rick's makes leather covers for that, i can get a new headunit if i need a clock that bad.. I'm seeing though that the 02-03 ecu are better, along with the tranny. The seller of this particular vehicle sounds smart, and the car looks to be in perfect condition, along with a clean carfax.. Let's see how things go. Thanks for everyone's input.
