Thumbs up Is this a good deal? Prospective buyer needs help

2006 Rio Yellow 13K mi, mint condition with a clean carfax FWIW, private party.

$23500?

My research in edmunds, kbb, and autotrader seemed to suggest it's a good deal. Please share your input.

Way cheap. Rio seems to be a love it/hate it color but that's a great price. Especially if you fall on the 'love it' side. I'd still have a trusted Honda tech check it out.

It sounds like a good deal but get it checked out by Honda

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm getting real close on pulling the trigger, very excited!

Carfax is squeaky clean, just one record of the original new car sale.

Do Honda dealers offer used car inspection? Or do I need to pretend I'm trading the car in?

Yes, most do. Call them and find out.

Ask around in the regional forum where you (or the car) is located. They can point you in the right direction of a good honda tech that is local.

It hasn't really dropped $10K in a year. Many 06's sold for $28K. S2K's don't sell at MSRP and have not for years.

$23,500 sounds like a great price. I would expect it to be around $25K or so. They must need to move it quickly.
