remember, we are trying to add 80% more torque.
I don't build boost setups by a kit. I spec it for my needs and purchase parts I know will achieve what im looking for.
When building a good boost setup, 80% more power/torque over stock is not a huge feat.

interesting. and with that, i have nothing more to say. I have never built a FI build before so i have no idea. on the other hand. N/A power is where my niche is. and 80% more torque is unheard of.

there are more important things at play here!
He still thinks that a clutch will give him more torque!!!
and i bet once he installs it, he will come back here and tell u that it indeed gave him more torque because now he is able to chirp tires while shifting gears.

NO MORE FIGHTING!!!!!! Do you get torque from a new clutch? Yes! I've asked professional mechanics. Someone that knows for sure what they are talking about. Is it much?. No! I can now add more mods to my car therefore making it faster and not worrying about my clutch.

You should not be giving your money to a mechanic whom tells you changing the clutch will add to active torque production. It may 'restore' torque lost through a slipping clutch, but it won't increase the amount of torque you were ever able to make.

He told me that when you add a new clutch depending how old it is. Will bring back some torque that was lost due to where and tear, and that since a stage 2 is going to grip faster and better. It will increase torque a little bit more. I'm not saying that I'm going from 162 lb·ft to 200 lb-ft. i was thinking more of 168 or 170 lb-ft.
