Hey all,

I've been wanting an S for a while now and I found a deal that I'm interested in but would love your guys opinions.

I currently own a 02 5spd RSX, clean title, 62k miles, light mods -> dropped on springs, rota rims, exhaust, sounds. KBB is about 10.5k and I say about an 8.5/10 condition. I found someone on craigslist who is willing to trade his S2000 for my car.

His S is an 01 has 98K miles, clean title, dropped on springs, new soft top. He also says he did maintenance on is car like new clutch, 90k service, but he doesnt have records for his maintenance. The car drives fine, but it does feel a bit older/worn out than my car. It's one of those "good from far, but far from good" condition cars, probably like a 7/10. The front wont shield needs replacing, which I don't mind if there is nothing else wrong with the car. I read the TCT threads because I was mostly afraid of a timing belt, but was happy to find out S2K's have timing chains. My questions are...

Is there any other potential problems I should look for?
Would you guys do the trade if you were in my shoes?
Also is there a way to check the maintenance done if theres no records?

I have no idea what an RSX like yours would be worth, but that s2k is probably worth $8500-9500.

KBB, my car is worth a little more and the only reason I want to do this is because I'm pretty desperate for an s2k. I'll probably end up still doing it unless I find a better deal somewhere...
