Hey everybody! I've been visiting this site periodically since 2001 or so. In that time, i've visited many Honda dealerships, and was fortunate to have a neighbor 2 houses down the street from me who owned a New Formula Red S2000 AP1. After he graciously let me test drive it, I was hooked. Unfortunately, the majority of my money at the time was spent refurbishing my daily driver. As I was making that new again, the thought of saving for an S2000 was put on the back burner. Until now, that is. Currently, I am adding to a sizeable down payment for either a low mileage 2008 or 2009 as a second car. I hope to jump on the perfect deal by either late March or April provided that I can find a decent bone stock example. I would like to hear from some of you owners as to where you purchased yours and what dealers I should run away from. I'm glad I finally joined this community since I been checking out stuff here for years.

Hey thanks Themikewoo! That's what I was looking for. I was also thinking about hiring an ASE certified mechanic to thoroughly check out the car before plunking down the coin as well. Last thing I want is to end up as a victim.
