Greetings from the Midwest!
Hello All!
Before I go on to tell everyone about my story on how I became an S owner, I have to say, just looking through a few threads, this has been by far one of the best forums I've come to. Very organized, much props to the Admin and members.
To the story... I don't know how many of you have driven a del Sol, but owning a del Sol throughout college really helped the bank, especially when talking about filling up the tank. How many people get to own a Sol, then an AP1. There's a big difference. Just recently when I ran into a friend, whose owned his 2003 Metallic Silver S since new, I asked if he'd be interested in selling, he jokingly said yes. After a short conversation, we got to talk about his asking price. Now a month later, cleared to finance an S, it's parked in my garage til spring. Tell me what you think of this... For 7.5K, I purchased an S with 50K miles... the catch, a top needed to replaced and cracked bumper, which roughly puts me at 10K overall when I replaced the parts. So here I am, a proud own of an S. Will post of pictures soon.
