Happy to be a first time s2k owner :)
Hey guys,
So I've been on the honda-tech forums since 2002 and have been through about 16 years in my life. I've owned just about every honda possible (eg, ef, dc, em, etc.) and I have always hoped to one day own an s2k. 3 days ago I finally made it happen and picked up a 2000 s2k. I'm so happy with it. It was a friend of a friends and single owner before me. It does have 174k miles on it, but paperwork from mile 1 to current from the dealer down the road from him. It drives like its got 20k miles and idles perfectly.
I am planning on rebuilding it around 200k and was curious if you guys know of a good site where I could buy a rebuild kit? Or maybe a good shop in Southern California with a trustworthy s2000 mechanic to do the rebuild for me? Thank you all so much and I look forward to participating more on this forum.

Nice!
Where in So Cal are you located? I can't recommend a good shop/mechanic unfortunately...I've only had mine for about two weeks. But, if you go to the regional forums, I'll bet somebody there could recommend a place that is near you.
