I saw this on sd cl. I was thinking about buying it but I wouldn't be able to stand another black car. It was quite a deal for it too.

You could always stroke the motor using OEM parts for relatively cheap.

Pop in a k24 crank, h22a pistons, rods, and bearings.

thanks for all the idea guys.

So i've had the car for 1 week - took the car to the mall today for an hour. Parked far away in a corner by myself. Come out an hour later and find that someone backed into my bumper or something.... 2 pretty big gash marks and paint chipped away.... FML

the sucks. I've had my car for about two and a half weeks. Earlier today my wife and I were at target...I was trying to be careful, parked far away clear of the rest of the cars. I come out and see a lady loading her stuff in her dodge magnum. She leaves the cart sitting on a hill and gets in her car, that cart starts rolling down the hill right towards my car.

Luckily, I was able to grab it before any damage could be done...but man, that thing had a full head of steam going right towards my door. I was so pissed off. If looks could kill, my wife and I definitely would have had a body on our hands.

I'll remember that car. Aren't too many dodge magnums with red brake calipers around here. Now, I'm not the type that would ever key a car in revenge or anything like that. But I can promise you if/when I see that car around it's going to get a nice snotty spit. Perhaps right on the door handle.

Sorry if I jacked your thread. Hopefully the damage isn't too bad.

Wow I wish I was as lucky as you to have been at the scene of the crime just seconds before it happened. I wish I would have been able to be there when the person hit me.

It feels that when I buy a beater, and park is 1 foot away from another car in tight parking spots, nothing ever happens. I can park like that for years without a door ding. The minute I get a car I care about, and park yards away, shit like this happens. Oh well... whatcha gunna do. I'm hoping I can get some filler and then touch up paint?? Anyone have experience with that?

Nice, and sorry about your (I'm guessing) hit-and-run situation.
