Default Hard to find decent 06-07 s2k....

I think its mainly because of the time of the season but recently 5-6 s2k's in my area that I was interested in were all sold within a week.

I'm in the market for a 06-07 model with under 20k miles. Granted I have only looked around less than 50 miles and I am only interested at cars at the dealership because I will be trading in a 2007 Camry.

I'm not looking for a brand new 2008 due the first year depreciation the car.

Has anyone else run into these problems finding their s2000?

is it because most people who trade or sell their S2k's are doing so to buy a new one...therefore not many owners of MY06 or 07 are ready for a new one yet?

Have you checked for a new 07 leftover? They are going for 26,500 or so(not sure what you are looking to spend) but that is a great price. My 06 will be coming off lease with under 10K on the clock, but I still have a year to go...

I"m thinking of leasing, and I see you're leasing too! Are you happy with the lease experience? I've never leased. I plan on buying the S after the lease is up....are you trading your's in or will you be keeping it when your lease is done? I want the lease for the cheap initial payment......

I'd go for a left over '07 if you can find one. I bought mine at the end of March and got a sick deal.

I love leasing. This is my 3rd lease(a 2000 Miata and 2002 Boxster before my S2K). Leases are easy and as long as you can keep within the mileage(12K/yr on most Honda leases) you should be good. I will likely trade mine for another S2K at the end of my 3yr lease. I like having a warranty in case of problems. I also want a white car with red/black which was not available in 06...
