Hey everyone!

Just introducing myself here on the forums. Once i'm done selling my 240sx, I'll be picking up an s2000 shortly thereafter.

Right now, I'm driving a '95 Nissan 240sx with an RB25DET swap. It's a really fun car, but it's time to move on for me - I just want something different. My choices were narrowed down between several different cars - 350z, S2000, RX8, and IS300.

The Z was ruled out, my dad bought an '04 touring vert. I've heard nothing but mostly good things about the s2k, versus complaints on the others.

My intro, I suppose, should include any advice on buying one of these roadsters. What's the worst thing about your cars? Why don't you like it, etc? I know all the good - and I'm definetly not buying it for utility!

Good luck in finding your S. I've had my CR for about 3 months now and I can't be happier. I don't think there are any bad things about the car but there are few complaints from some of the owners/drivers. 1)people that come from V6 or V8, complain about the torque(I guess they must be in the wrong gears),2)Many people complaint of rear diff. issues(they're probably doing burnouts,donuts, or forced fed without any diff. mods), &3)AP1s are more likely to oversteer(sounds like just more fun). Besides those issues(if you can call them that), the S is perfect.

Done any test drives? You should really base your decision on them versus reading.
