Default Hello all...

Yes, I have lusted after the S2000 for so long and now I have finally bought one. I found a 2003 Silverstone/Black with only 14k miles running at the Riverside Auction yesterday and called my buyer and had him pick it up. It is apparently in excellent condition as I would only hope for since it only has 14k miles.

I really wanted a MY04+ for the beautiful revised rear/front ends, wheels, little bit softer ride (believe it or not) etc...but for the extra money I will settle with the '03.

I tend not to mod my cars besides small cosmetic changes such as the 04+ radio cover which I have already purchased. I may change to 04-05 wheels at some point and maybe the trunk lip spoiler but that will be all.

I would love for my car to look identical to this one pictured below that has been on Ebay numerous times, but I don't know if mine will have the rear/front spoiler or the mud guards.

I have a bad habit of only keeping cars for anywhere from 4-18 months, maybe the S will be different. I can only hope.

I have the same problem...I just went through 4 cars in 2 years . I've never been so happy with a car though, and I love the S. Good luck

Same here

But now it seems I have found my true car

The one I have always wanted from the beginning!

Over here we always say, the car is as good as the engine

Ow yeah, I had a nice GTI for more than 9 years... It's the engine that counts the most to me

Once you'v been past 6000 rpm and to 9000 you'll never sell it.

Keep your eye on the oil level and tire pressures.

Stone'd! Congrats, MasterVTEC!

Not sure, but I don't think that trunk lip is Honda. The strakes and front lip are. Looks great.

Ok, finally got the car this morning! I was expecting it yesterday afternoon but the truck driver was running a little behind.

To my dismay it didn't have the spoilers front/rear or mud guards, but I never really thought it would. But worst of all: It has hideous chrome rims on it, factory style but chrome nonetheless. Chrome does not belong on any car IMO. So, anyone up for a trade for stockies?

Now the good stuff....the car is MINT, has all the manuals and I even found the original window sticker in the "secret compartment." I have already installed the '04+ radio cover.

Now on to a couple of pics. Just off the truck and then Freshly Waxed and Detailed by yours truly:

Mint.

By the way, as an MY03 owner, be sure to check oil at every fill up! Normal usage may burn oil (it's normal).

Congrats on your purchase! I also have an 03 with 14K on the odo. Seen more than a few other cars come and go but this one is the shit!
You'll have a blast in the big and little cottonwoods without a doubt.
You're right about the wheels. Chrome/silver = oil/vinegar. Consider offering a trade in the proper forum though, you might be suprised if they're in good shape. Welcome to the site!
