HELLO EVERYONE
Hello I'm new to the Forums and website. I've been looking for an S2000 for sometime now and i've been trying to gather as much research as i can on the car because as you all know it is an exspensive car and spending time learning about your investment before buying usually is the best approach to go about things. I have a few questions. I've been looking at the 2002 models one which has about 20,000 miles on it, silver with red interior and the other is a suzuka blue with blue interior. I was just wondering if one is more rare than the other, or perhaps it was just a rumor i was hearing.
If you guys don't mind if you have a min just to post your preference. Thanks Senos.

Since you are asking...none of the above. I dont think any color is rare. Some are of course more common then others, but I think you should choose the one you like best. After all, you'll be looking at it much more than any of us.
Good luck shopping, and you won't be disappointed with ANY color.

there's less common color combo like black on tan, silverstone on red
the last rare honda i saw was a s600 and a rally prep. dc2
imho, buy the color of car you like best, not base on how less often you see it on the road.
for the last two month of s2000 searching, most of the ap1 i saw was black and yellow, i brough an silverstone color ap1 in the end

It sounds to me like you are somewhat indifferent at this point. Whenever you buy a used car (unless it is REALLY important to you) I feel that color should take a back seat to quality.
If the prices are fairly consistent and one car seems to have been more taken more care of, or has a cleaner record...go with that car.
Especially if you truly are indifferent to the color.

Boy, folks, your facts are off today...
1) In MY02, Silverstone was not available. The color is light silver, and Sebring is the name.
2) Suzuka blue is not discontinued. It's still available.
IMO, senos, you should pick the color you like, not whether it's rare or not.

If you haven't seen the MY02 in person, you really should sit in them before making any decisions. I loved the blue color while shopping online, but when a local dealer got one I noticed the blue dashboard and was less than pleased. (Some of the Silver/Red combos were the same way)
There's a Sebring Silver one in my garage. In the end it comes down to what you like.
