You may find that the yellow grows on you - the S is a fun car to have in yellow.

The first S I drove was a Spa - it won me over!

you are goin to like your s2000 when you get it. The s2000 looks good in every color. I think so at least. As for exhaust and intake, I wouls suggest staying stock for a while, maybe 6 months or a year, and get used to the car in its stock form and then after you get used to it throw it on so the new part renews the excitement for you. As for an intake, I have the K&N FIPK intake system. It sounds nice, but I a not sure it does much power wise. Maybe a couple hp. I am not sure about others with concerns to power, so I cant help more than that. I like the sound of the hks hi power. Hope I helped a little. Drive safe man.

Exhausts can really change the character of your car, Doug. Like the others, I recommend living with the car a while before mucking with the exhaust.

Congrats on your (forthcoming?) purchase, and remember to check the oil at every fill up. Also, since this is an MY01, you might as well plan on swapping all the fluids in the car when you get it. Some of them are likely to be pretty old.

Not a problem so much as normal behavior. The way the engine blocks of our MY00 - MY03 AP1 engines were machined affects the oil consumption.

You have to keep your eye on the dipstick. Some don't burn much at all, but most burn some. I burn about a quart (maybe a little less) every 1000 miles or so.
