Hello and help
Hi All,
I am new to this forum and looking to buy an S2000 in England. Whilst I have owned lots of vehicles in my time the only convertible was an M3 BMW some 10 years ago.
Anyway, I have seen a privately owned vehicle for sale with 19200 miles on the clock, she is in Nuremburg Blue and has only had 2 owners with the present one from 2010. She is on an 05 plate so was registered in 2005 and from what the current owners says she is in very very good condition with a slight marking on one wheel only.
He is asking for £12995 for her and when looking at the others for sale it seems not to be a bad price.
My question is do you guys think its a reasonable price and what issues are known on the vehicles I should be looking for?
Many thanks, Japseroony.

As a 2005 with only 19,xxx miles, £13,000 is not a bad price. I would still try to negotiate a better cost to leave more room for little modifications you might want in the future. That car, which I'm sure was treated with respect and serviced in a timely manner, should last a VERY long time. The 'MIKE WOO' will post here relatively soon and will give you an idea on basic/required maintenance. Welcome to the community
EDIT: Before making your final purchase, I would look at the pros and cons of buying a 2004/2005 Generation with cable throttle vs a 2006+ Drive-by-wire which will have traction control (good for rainy regions). Generation years may be slightly +/- for Euro owners, maybe an expert can chime in!
