Hello from Honolulu
Hello! New-ish S2000 owner checking in. Recently picked up a 2001 NFR s2000 with 97,000 miles. It's had a tough life. Despite the title being fairly clean, it's obvious parts of the car have been repainted. The front bumper has some massive overspray and will eventually be repainted. The hood has a nice, beautiful key-mark across the front. The engine may have had some parts replaced too, with the valve cover having a chalk-written code across the top. My goal is to restore this poor car and give it the love it should have had from day one.
It's been a long time coming, as this was always the car that I've wanted to own, and keep. To me, this car is an instant classic. My wife and I plan to restore her, with just a few changes. We have a Mugen hard top awaiting paint, and a decision on wheels is still being mulled over. A few interior pieces are being replaced, but overall the interior is in immaculate condition. The seats were likely stolen at one point as they appear to be in new condition for the odometer having 97,000 miles.
The "mods" are stopping at the wheels and hard top. To me, the car is very accessible and performs well for the Hawaii roads in its factory form.
So, here she is:

Back yonder in 2002-ish, this was my old whip: 2000 Honda Civic Si on 7psi. Never had the chance to tune her, but naturally aspirated she ran a quick 14-flat.
