Hello all.
looking to get a almost stock GPW 2002 s2k with red/black interior
50k miles.
minor dents/scratches nothing big.
carfax came back with 4 different owners!

I am a noob to the sk2 i know the gpw with red/black inside are rare. So how much would you pay?

KBB for around my area for the information you listed is:

Excellent $19,850

Good $18,700

Fair $17,250

 

yea i ran kbb thats about the same results i got.

but how much is it worth to you? knowing its one of the hardest color combos to find and has had 4 previous owners.

 

many factors has to be considered...

 

i believe the color/int combo u speak of is only 2002. correct me if im wrong.

2002 gpw ap1 with 50k miles. assuming its in at least 9/10 condition, ext, int, engine wise...

ill pay.... 19k.. yea.. 19k.

I paid 20k last year for mine last year with fewer miles (around 30k). I admit, the color combo is rare, but the value in that is in the eye of the beholder really.

Personally, I'd pay 18 at the most.

i would ask for 17.

 

MY02 GPW only came with all red interior (dash, doors and inserts, etc) so if the interior is red seats/black dash, it has to be a 2000 or 2001 unless someone did a serious swap. In general, MY02 seem to be selling in the $17/$18 range. Rare color (+), mostly stock (+) but mileage getting up there (-) and lots of past owners (-). If it were me, I'd be in the upper $17s but I'd be a bit wary with all the past owners.
