Hello from Indiana!

I didn't have a professional inspection before I bought it, but I personally did a visual inspection, looked for rust, inspected the engine bay, tires, wheel wells, underbody, etc. I checked each body panel for the VIN number tag to make sure the panels were original. I took it for a test drive through all the gears, checked the alignment, brakes, and listened to the engine. I noticed a smell of brakes sticking (burning) and determined that it was the front left caliper by touching each wheel after my test drive. That wheel was a lot hotter than the others. I checked all the fluids as well, and they all looked very clean. Overall, I could tell the car was well-taken care of so bought it.

Thanks. I pulled the trigger yesterday after I had it mechanically checked out. They did find a tire with uneven wear so they suggested an alignment. I had the dealer complete that as well as proving a 2nd ignition key before signing on the dotted line!
I live in Broad Ripple and work downtown.
It sounds like we need to plan and indy S2K get together sometime this fall.

Totally missed these posts. I would be down for a meetup sometime during late spring!
My car will be in the garage until about April...do you guys drive them in the winter or do you winterize them and put them away?

Hey, just found this thread. I work downtown as well.
My 06 is currently my daily, but i have the option to work from home most days so it hasn't been too bad with the weather we have been having.
Hopefully be able to take it out this week when we hit the 50s again.
