Default Hello, looking to change from EP3

Hi everyone.

I currently have a Satin Silver EP3 Civic Type R.
Looking to change for an S2K, hopefully going to test drive a few this weekend.

I'll browse the forum for tips and things to look out for when buying.

Jack

04 and up have 8200rpm redlines. It's due to increasing the engine size from 2.0 to 2.2 to make it a bit easier to drive around town. 04 up also has upgraded styling, which is to say, headlights, taillights, front/rear bumpers, and wheels. The interior is also slightly different. 06 and up changes to a drive by wire throttle and has traction control, or stability, I forget which. ap1 is the 00-03, ap2 is 04 and up. I recommend driving them both to see what you like.

edit: Welcome to the forum, and if you plan to mod the car, check out mods beforehand, they are expensive. And engine mods do basically nothing with the exception of FI.

Wow thanks for that, this is pretty much all the info i'm going to need.

I haven't got many of the CTR on this computer actually...

but the few i have got are here....

Its a 2004 Facelift in satin silver. I've owned it for 2 years and it's on 50k at the minute. i have a company van so it's only used at weekends, one of the reason's why i fancy an S2K.

Thanks everyone
