Hello from New Zealand
Hi everyone
My name is Shane, I've been a long time lurker of this forum and finally decided to sign up. The S2000 is a dream car of mine but where I live they rarely come up for sale and most are poorly treated, so finding a decent one was a real mission. After a few years of waiting though, in December 2014 a completely original silverstone AP1 S2000 with 126k on the clock came up for sale in the North Island about 1000km away. I took a risk and purchased the car unseen with only an AA inspection report. I jumped on a one way flight up north and meet the owner at the airport who was an elderly gentleman that had it for the past 8 years. He had paperwork from servicing during his entire ownership and even some from the owner before him. Driving the car home I knew I had a good one.
Here it is the day I picked it up

To this day I still cant believe I own one!

Thanks!
Yes, it was roughly 600 miles. There were some incredible roads on the way back, lots of twisties which was a great opportunity to get used to driving the car. I found my back got a bit sore near the end but that's to be expected for driving the majority of the trip in one day.

It was definitely a fun trip!
